Click here for the E-vite and to RSVP! Ravinia Night 2017 Featuring the musical talents of: Brian Larkin / Chris Miller Those Guys / Remember the Girls Frank & Dave Band Sunday, September 3rd 5:30-11:00 Please join us for the 9th annual "Ravinia Night" fundraiser concert in our backyard. We provide live music and you provide your own chairs/blankets, drinks/food, along with a donation for the American Cancer Society (ACS). Last year we raised a record high $15,000, and have raised over $64,000 for ACS since we started the event. As many of you know, my friend and sister-in-law, Michelle Scholl, is a 22-year cancer survivor who's very active in fundraising for ACS. It's on her behalf that we raise the money, and all proceeds go to her ACS Relay For Life team. Feel free to bring friends/neighbors with you. There's plenty of room, and all are welcome! **Thank you to the Skurla family, who will once again be "Shakin' for a Cure". So remember to bring your donations for such a refreshing and entertaining part of the evening. 100% of the proceeds will be donated. Below is a note from Gina Moticik regarding costume measuring for the upcoming school year. Hello Esprit Nation, My name is Gina Moticik. I am the Chairperson of the Esprit Costume Committee for the 2017-2018 Show Choir season. Kristen Meyer, Teagan Meyer’s mom, assisted the committee last year at various times throughout the season and has graciously offered to assist me with our first task – fitting and measurements! This mandatory session will include measurements for costumes, and fitting for the Esprit track jacket. The process only takes a few minutes but allow 15-20 minutes in case a few girls show up at the same time. Parents are welcome to attend but are not required. We are offering two dates in order to accommodate the girls’ busy schedules! Date: Wednesday, August 16, 2017 Thursday, August 17, 2017 Time: 6pm-8pm Place: The Meyer’s House 44 Christina Circle Wheaton, IL Please make every effort to attend one session. These initial measurements are essential to the costume ordering process so your cooperation is greatly appreciated! If any one has a serious conflict with either of these dates and needs to make other arrangements, please contact me A.S.A.P. I have attached an Esprit Costume Measurement Form with the measurement information we will be collecting during the fitting/measurement session. Each girl is responsible for completing the student information and measurement sections and bringing it to the session. CLICK HERE FOR THE FORM Please wear appropriate clothing to the session (yoga pants, shorts, tank top, sports bra, or other clothing appropriate for measurments). If you have any questions or need to make other arrangements, please call or text me at (630) 212-7742 or e-mail me at [email protected]. Thank you! Gina Moticik Mrs. Nichols is offering voice lessons at her home this school year! Here's a note from her:
-------- Hello, everyone! I will be offering voice lessons this school year and have availability for new students. These lessons would be held at my home in Wheaton on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The cost for a half hour lesson is $25. The open slots are: Wednesdays: 8:00-8:30 8:30-9:00 Thursdays: 7:00-7:30 7:30-8:00 8:00-8:30 8:30-9:00 Additionally, I have a Wednesday 7:30-8:00 slot open but only for every other week. That would be great for someone interested in lessons but can't make a committment to 4 lessons per month. You would alternate weeks with another student. If you are interested, please email me ASAP at [email protected]. I will fill these slots on a first come, a first come first served basis. I plan to start lessons the last week of August. Let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to it! -- Kelsey Nichols Choral Director Glenbrook North High School (217) 972-1117 Here's a note from Jennifer Belmont regarding the character shoe order.

I truly hope you are all ready for a phenomenal new season!
Here are some announcements as we gear up for 2017-2018! I am sending this to both parents and students, as some families have their kids handle all the info streaming in, and some families have kids like when I was in high school (and maybe now too...ask Mindy) and need an adult to help navigate it all.
