Classics Cost: $1,400 (first payment was due 6/1)
New Payment Schedule: $350 due on 8/25, 9/15, 10/13 (each of these are Thursday rehearsal nights) Please bring a check written to WWSHS Classics to rehearsal and give to Mr. Miller. ---Please note that all payments are non-refundable---- Recognizing that this is a considerable cost to any family, we will continue to work diligently to provide fundraising opportunities for students to be able to offset the costs associated with The Classics. As is established policy, no student will be excluded from the activity for reasons of financial hardship. If you are in need of an individualized payment plan, please contact Mr. Miller.

Below is a message from Mike Moukheiber regarding a Unity shirt for Classics/Esprit and Show Band. I think this is an awesome idea and I will definitely be ordering one! It's an awesome way to celebrate our fantastic show choir program here at WWS!
CLICK HERE TO SEE THE SHIRT Lisa Logan, who has been handling the Esprit spiritwear, has helped come up with the idea to design and offer what we're calling unity t-shirts. These shirts have all 3 groups (Esprit, Classics and Band) in an interlocking typeset. These unity t-shirts will be available for purchase through 8/25 at http://actionscreen.com/Esprit These will then be available for sale again in October/November time frame once the Band is selected. There has been some discussion about a jacket option for parents and students which Lisa will continue to explore. Read the invite from Katie and Dave Claypool Below: Ravinia Night 2016 Claypool Residence: 121 Christina Circle in Wheaton Featuring the musical talents of: Brian Larkin / Chris Miller Those Guys / Remember the Girls Frank & Dave Band Sunday, September 4th 5:30-11:00 Please join us for the 8th annual "Ravinia Night" fundraiser concert in our backyard. We provide live music and you provide your own chairs/blankets, drinks/food, along with a donation for the American Cancer Society (ACS). Last year we raised a record high $12,500, and have raised almost $50,000 for ACS since we started the event. As many of you know, my friend and sister-in-law, Michelle Scholl, is a 21-year cancer survivor who's very active in fundraising for ACS. It's on her behalf that we raise the money, and all proceeds go to her ACS Relay For Life team. Feel free to bring friends/neighbors with you. There's plenty of room, and all are welcome! Retreat is coming up so soon! I just wanted to give you a heads up regarding transportation for various activities.
Transportation to and from Feed My Starving Children on Friday is COVERED and you are not responsible for providing those rides. Chaperones and parent helpers will be available to shuttle students to Feed My Starving Children. However... Transportation to and from the hotel and school is NOT COVERED. That means you are responsible for getting your student to the hotel on Friday morning, to WWS on Saturday morning, and to/from the BBQ on Saturday evening Carpooling is HIGHLY encouraged! If you know other students attending, please arrange to ride together! If you have any questions or need help figuring out transportation, please let me know and I can hopefully connect you with a carpool. Also, I have had a couple of questions regarding cost for the Retreat. There is no cost for any of the activities, food, or hotel, as this was all included in your Classics fees. Coming soon: packing list and final details. Get pumped! Mr. Miller To make things easier for Jennifer, please reply regarding the shoes directly to Jennifer Belmont at [email protected] Thanks, Chris Shoes Good evening! I will be coordinating the Character Shoe order for the Esprit and Classics groups. We will be placing a bulk order for shoes which will save us tax and shipping. The original cost of the shoe is $52, however we will only pay $42 per pair. Checks can be made out to Dance N Tees. In an effort to ensure you have the right size, please go to the Dance N Tees store in Naperville(3124 S. Route 59(630) 904-4433) to try on the #550 Capezio shoe for fit. They do not stock the actual shoe we are ordering, however this shoe is similar. I will be providing the store with a roster of all the girls in need of shoes; please confirm back to me if you will be ordering a pair. In addition, if you will not be going in to get the shoes fitted, please provide me with the size you would like to order. Please make sure you are fitted in the store by Monday, August 8th. Once we have everyone's information, we will place the order and hopefully have them in time for the start of school. Please get your checks to me by August 12th(I can pick them up at the retreat). We will pay once the shoes arrive and we will deliver them to the girls. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (530) 841-2586 |
